U.S. Intelligence: No Signs of Collapse in Iran’s Power Structure
Tehran - BORNA - Based on reports and intelligence evaluations, despite ongoing military strikes and the loss of several senior Iranian officials, there is no indication that the government has lost control.
Several Western officials said that U.S. intelligence assessments and regional analysts suggest that the successors to those who were killed follow the same mindset, with no visible deviation from that path.
These reports also indicate that Iran’s governing structure shows no signs of disintegration, and those who have replaced senior officials are seen as figures holding positions similar to their predecessors.
Some analysts also believe that U.S. and Israeli attacks, which resulted in the deaths of a number of decision-makers in Iran, have made it more difficult to predict the country’s internal decision-making process.
Meanwhile, Tulsi Gabbard, the U.S. Director of National Intelligence, has also stated in an assessment presented to American lawmakers that Iran’s government remains in place.
