Egypt FM Stresses Importance of Diplomatic Efforts to Halt Aggression Against Iran
Tehran - BORNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, held a phone conversation on Saturday night to exchange views on the developments regarding the U.S.-Israeli military aggression against Iran and its regional and international consequences.
During the call, the "unprecedented war crimes" committed by the aggressors—including strikes on Iran’s industrial and production infrastructure, peaceful nuclear facilities, energy sectors, civilian targets, and residential areas—were detailed.
Both sides underscored the responsibility of all nations, particularly those in the region, to support regional peace and stability and to refrain from any form of assistance or complicity with the aggressors.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister reaffirmed the significance of sustaining efforts through diplomatic channels to assist in halting the conflict.
