Iran’s UN Mission: Trump Seeks to Drag the Region into an Endless War
Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations has reacted to the U.S. President’s threats to target Iranian infrastructure, including bridges and power plants, stating that Donald Trump is seeking to drag the region into an "endless war."

Tehran - BORNA - The Iranian Mission in New York issued a statement on the social media platform X, noting: "The President of the United States is once again openly threatening to destroy infrastructure essential for civilian survival in Iran."

Referring to Trump’s message—which claimed "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day. All gathered in one place, nothing else will be like it!!!"—the Mission stated: "If the conscience of the United Nations were awake, it would not remain silent in the face of the blatant and shameless threats by the warmongering U.S. President to target civilian infrastructure."

The Mission further clarified: "This is a direct and public provocation to incite terror among civilians and clear evidence of intent to commit war crimes. The international community and all nations have legal obligations to prevent such heinous war crimes. They must act now. Tomorrow is too late."

Earlier on Sunday, Donald Trump wrote in an aggressive tone: "Nothing will compare to what we are going to do to power plants and bridges on Tuesday in Iran. Open the damn strait, or you’ll live in hell, just watch!"
