In Meeting with Serbian President, Iranian Diplomat: Ceasefire is Not the Solution
Iran's ambassador to Serbia stated: "A ceasefire is not the solution, but this does not mean that we are seeking war. Iran can only consider solutions if they lead to the fulfillment of Iran's demands."

Tehran - BORNA - Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Serbia, met with Aleksandar Vučić, the President of Serbia.

During this meeting, Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, our country's ambassador, while providing explanations regarding the recent illegal aggression against our country, emphasized: "Iran was subjected to this aggression in the midst of diplomatic negotiations. Iran is exercising its right to self-defense and will continue this path even more strongly than in the past."

He stated: "A ceasefire is not the solution, but this does not mean that we are seeking war. Iran can only consider solutions if they lead to the fulfillment of Iran's demands—demands whose goal is to establish a sustainable and lasting peace."

The President of Serbia also stated: "Serbia supports a peaceful solution."

Emphasizing the importance of respecting the United Nations Charter, territorial integrity, and the principle of the inviolability of borders, the President of Serbia stressed that it is very important for all of humanity to reach a peaceful solution in order to prevent a catastrophe of unprecedented dimensions.
