Tehran and Riyadh Move to Secure Middle East Stability Post-Ceasefire
Tehran - BORNA - The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday that Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, held a telephone conversation with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
According to the official statement, the two top diplomats focused on mechanisms to prevent further escalation and discussed comprehensive ways to reduce tensions and restore lasting security and stability to the Middle East.
This conversation is of strategic importance as it is the first time the two ministers have spoken since the commencement of American-Zionist attacks on Iran and Tehran’s retaliatory strikes against occupied territories and U.S. regional bases.
Observers view this coordination between Tehran and Riyadh as a vital component in maintaining the current two-week ceasefire and creating a conducive environment for the upcoming "Islamabad Talks."
