Envoy: Iran to Enter Islamabad Talks with ‘Total Mistrust’ of Washington
Iran’s Ambassador to Germany, Majid Nili, has stated that due to Washington's history of broken promises, Tehran will approach the upcoming negotiations in Islamabad with "total mistrust" and maximum vigilance.

Tehran - BORNA - Ambassador Nili made the remarks during a ceremony held at the Iranian Embassy in Berlin on Friday to commemorate the 40th day of the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and other victims of the "Ramadan War." The event was attended by members of the Iranian diaspora and supporters of the Islamic Republic.

Factors of Iranian Victory

Addressing the gathering, Nili outlined three core pillars that secured Iran's victory in the recent 40-day conflict: "The unwavering presence and solidarity of the people, the country’s robust defensive capabilities, and the pure blood of the martyrs, coupled with divine grace."

The Ambassador emphasized that despite the damage caused by the recent military aggression, the Islamic Republic remains a symbol of authority and has successfully "punished the aggressors," making them regret their actions.

Condemning European Inaction

Nili sharply criticized the silence and passivity of certain European nations regarding blatant violations of international law. He specifically highlighted war crimes committed during the conflict, including the brutal attack on students at a school in Minab, as instances that the international community must not ignore.

Vigilance in Diplomacy

Turning to the diplomatic front, the envoy noted that while a ceasefire is in place, Iran has not forgotten the "U.S. record of betrayal." He asserted that Iranian diplomats in Islamabad would maintain high levels of alertness to ensure national interests are protected.

Nili concluded the ceremony by expressing gratitude to Iranians residing in Germany and German advocates of justice who stood in solidarity with the Iranian people against foreign bullying and aggression.
