Pezeshkian: Iranian Delegation Will Negotiate Bravely to Protect National Interests
President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized on Saturday that the high-level Iranian delegation currently in Pakistan is fully committed to safeguarding the country’s interests and will engage in negotiations with "courage."

Tehran - BORNA - The President shared his remarks on X (formerly Twitter) as the first phase of diplomatic talks between Iran and the U.S. commenced in Islamabad.

"The high-ranking Iranian delegation present in Pakistan is protecting Iran's interests with all its might and will negotiate bravely in this regard," President Pezeshkian wrote.

Reassuring the public regarding the government's domestic priorities amidst the regional crisis, he added: "In any case, our service to the people will not stop for a single moment. Whatever the outcome of the negotiations, the government stands firmly with the people."

The President's message serves as a directive to the negotiating team led by Speaker Ghalibaf, reinforcing Tehran's stance of "integrated diplomacy" where strategic defense and diplomatic engagement move forward in tandem. Observers view this statement as a signal that while Iran is open to a sustainable agreement, it will not compromise on its fundamental rights or national security.
