IRGC Navy: Any Miscalculation in Strait of Hormuz Will Trap Enemies in 'Deadly Whirlpools'
The Navy of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) warned on Sunday that any strategic error by adversaries in the Strait of Hormuz would lead to catastrophic consequences, asserting that the strategic waterway remains under the full surveillance of Iranian forces.

Tehran - BORNA - The IRGC Navy Command released drone footage on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, showcasing the real-time monitoring of maritime traffic and activities in the Strait of Hormuz.

Accompanying the video, the IRGC Navy stated: "Drone surveillance footage of the actual situation in the Strait of Hormuz: All movements—and the lack thereof—are under the complete control of the Armed Forces. Any mistaken move will trap the enemy in deadly whirlpools within the Strait."

The statement reinforces Tehran's long-standing position that the security and stability of the Strait of Hormuz are red lines for the Islamic Republic. The timing of this message is significant, as it follows the conclusion of the intensive 21-hour negotiations in Islamabad.

Military observers interpret the release of this footage as a display of "Diplomacy of Power," signaling that while Iran remains open to technical and political dialogue, its defensive readiness and control over vital regional energy corridors remain absolute and non-negotiable.
