"Your Holiness Pope Leo XIV, on behalf of the great nation of Iran, I condemn the insults directed at you. I declare that the desecration of the sanctity of Jesus (PBUH), the Prophet of peace and brotherhood, is not acceptable to any free man. I pray to Allah for your continued success and dignity."
The President's message comes amid a wave of international reactions to the U.S. President's unconventional and derogatory rhetoric.
