Iranian, Qatari Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments in Phone Call
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held a telephone conversation on Monday evening to discuss the latest regional shifts and diplomatic efforts.

Tehran - BORNA - During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister elaborated on the most recent regional shifts, particularly the Iran-U.S. negotiations in Islamabad and the continued violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon by the Zionist regime.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran, just as it has acted with decisiveness in defending its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, has entered the diplomatic process with a responsible approach to safeguard its national interests and protect regional peace and security," Araghchi emphasized.

For his part, the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country’s support for the continuation of mediation efforts aimed at ending the war.
