Iran’s Mission in Vienna: Nazi Propaganda Techniques Against Iran Ineffective in Modern Era
Iran’s permanent mission to international organizations in Vienna emphasized on Tuesday that the repeated use of lies against Iran to make them appear true is a Nazi propaganda technique that does not work in the modern age.

Tehran - BORNA - The Iranian mission wrote in a post on the social media platform X: "The claim that 'Iran will not have a nuclear weapon but still wants it' is a Big Lie. The Nazi propaganda technique of the 'Big Lie'—repeating a lie so often that it becomes the truth—does not work in the modern era."

The mission further noted: "Iran’s reaffirmation that it will never, under any circumstances, seek, develop, or acquire nuclear weapons has been welcomed by the UN Security Council and continuously verified by the IAEA. After conducting the most extensive verification process in its history, the IAEA has acknowledged that Iran has no nuclear weapons program. There is no evidence in the agency's reports of the diversion of nuclear material by Iran. On the contrary, numerous reports show that all nuclear materials are under monitoring and accounting."

The message continued: "The U.S. President’s claim contradicts even the assessments of his own country’s intelligence community. This Big Lie—that Iran is only a few weeks away from a nuclear weapon—despite being repeated by Netanyahu for nearly 1,790 weeks (over 34 years), has failed to change the reality that Iran has fundamentally never sought nuclear weapons and has emphasized its inalienable right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy."
