Araghchi, Wang Yi Discuss Regional Developments, Islamabad Talks via Phone

Tehran - BORNA - Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi spoke with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, on Wednesday as part of ongoing consultations regarding developments related to the negotiations and the regional situation.

During the call, the two senior diplomats exchanged views on the current state of regional stability and the process of ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States, which were recently held in Islamabad.

Araghchi and Wang Yi reviewed the progress of these diplomatic efforts alongside broader international issues of mutual interest.

It is noteworthy that following the Iran-U.S. talks on Saturday, several regional and international countries have been striving to bring the views of both sides closer together in an effort to reduce the level of tensions.
