IRGC Navy Announces New Regulations for Navigation Through the Strait of Hormuz
The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) emphasized that a new order has been established in the Strait of Hormuz, announcing the updated conditions for the passage of various vessels through the strategic waterway.
Tehran - BORNA - The IRGC Naval Command announced the following regulations via its account on the social media platform X:
"A new order governs the Strait of Hormuz:
Civilian vessels must navigate strictly through the routes designated by Iran.
The passage of military vessels through the Strait remains prohibited.
All maritime traffic is subject to authorization from the IRGC Navy.
These navigation rules are implemented in alignment with the 'Battlefield Silence' agreement and following the execution of the ceasefire in Lebanon."
