Velayati: The Era of Imposing Security from Across Oceans Has Ended
The Senior Advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for International Affairs, reacting to U.S. threats regarding a naval blockade, stated: The era of imposing security from across the oceans has ended; any mischief will meet a chain reaction.
Tehran - BORNA - Ali Akbar Velayati posted on his official account on the social media platform X: "The era of imposing security from across the oceans has ended. Today, not only is the security of Hormuz and Malacca guaranteed under the authority of us and our strategic partners, but the security of Bab al-Mandab is also in the hands of our brothers in Ansarullah. Any mischief will meet a chain response."
He further added: "In the ridiculous show of the Paris meeting, if Britain and France are concerned about the security of shipping, they should consider the English Channel and ending the old wound in Gibraltar."
Velayati concluded by noting: "We are grateful for the independent and wise positions of Madrid."
