Iranian Embassy Urges UK to Hold U.S., Israel Accountable for War Crimes
The Iranian Embassy in London has advised the British government to hold the United States and the Zionist regime accountable for their war crimes instead of pursuing "worthless" diplomatic measures.
Tehran - BORNA -The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United Kingdom issued a statement on the social media platform X in response to recent remarks by British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. Cooper had mentioned traveling to five countries in recent days to exert pressure for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
The British Foreign Secretary described the approaching end of the two-week ceasefire between Iran and the U.S. as a "critical diplomatic moment."
In response, the Iranian Embassy in London wrote: "Set aside these low-value statements and join the global public opinion in holding the American and Israeli regimes responsible and accountable for their war crimes."
