Araghchi: Iran Knows How to Stand Up to Bullying
Tehran - BORNA - Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, reacting to the recent U.S. attack on a commercial vessel and the hostage-taking of its crew, described these actions as a clear violation of the ceasefire and an act of war.
In a message on the social media platform X, referring to the blockade of Iranian ports, he emphasized: "The blockade of Iranian ports is an act of war and, consequently, a violation of the ceasefire. Attacking a commercial vessel and taking its crew hostage is an even greater and unacceptable violation."
The Iranian Foreign Minister further stressed Iran's capabilities in countering external pressures, adding: "Iran knows well how to deal with restrictions, how to defend its interests, and how to stand up to bullying."
Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that they will provide a decisive response to any threat against national interests.
