Iran Protests U.S. Misuse of Territory and Airspace of Five Regional Countries
Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations has sent formal letters to the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council, lodging a strong protest against the United States' misuse of the territory and airspace of five regional nations: Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

Tehran - BORNA - The separate letters addressed to the Secretary-General and the President of the UN Security Council highlight the international responsibility of states when providing their territory to others for committing acts of aggression or conducting armed attacks against a third state.

In these communications, the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed its explicit and severe protest against these illegal actions. Tehran categorically called upon the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates to uphold the principles of good neighborliness and to prevent the continued exploitation of their territories and airspace for operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

It is noteworthy that each of these letters contains detailed documentation of specific instances where the territory or airspace of these countries was used for violations and acts of aggression.
