IRGC: Any Further Aggression Will Face a Response at the Level of Strategic Deterrence
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) emphasized that any further aggression from the camp of enemies and ill-wishers of this land will undoubtedly be met with a response beyond the expectations of the enemies and at the level of strategic deterrence.

Tehran - BORNA - The IRGC issued a statement commemorating the anniversary of April 24 (5th of Ordibehesht), the day marking the humiliating failure of the U.S. military operation known as "Eagle Claw" in Tabas in 1980. The statement characterized the recent American operation in southern Isfahan Province, amid the "Third U.S.-Zionist Imposed War," as a repetition of the White House's humiliation and the predestined defeat of global arrogance by the Iranian nation.

A portion of the IRGC statement reads: "The recent U.S. military aggression against the holy soil of Islamic Iran in southern Isfahan Province—conducted amidst the criminal U.S.-Zionist imposed war—was a repetition of the same strategic error in Tabas, which was then excused by the attempt to release spies held by the Muslim Students Following the Line of the Imam. It demonstrated that the United States has yet to learn from its humiliating and shameful historical defeat in April 1980, and its aggressive and arrogant nature continues in a new field of enmity against the Revolution and the Islamic system."

The statement adds: "The failure of the U.S. operation in southern Isfahan, under the false pretext of 'liberating a fighter pilot,' was a manifestation of divine grace that revealed the power and vigilance of the Armed Forces and defense units of the Islamic Republic of Iran in another arena. It showed that any aggression against this holy land will have no end but defeat, humiliation, and disgrace for the aggressor."

Referring to the great victory of the resilient and insightful Iranian nation in the "Third Sacred Defense" and the current conditions of "silence in military combat," the IRGC clarified: "The authoritative and intelligent silence of the country’s Armed Forces in the military battle, which has been placed on the agenda by the decision of the Great Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief, is not a sign of weakness. Instead, in the event of a miscalculation or any renewed aggressive action by the warmongering and truce-breaking enemy, it can serve as a prelude to a 'Hellish Storm' against them. The expanse of Islamic Iran, far beyond Tabas and Isfahan, can become the field of defeat and humiliation for aggressors and, under the shadow of divine will, the manifestation of the miracle of the storm and sand."

Continuing its reference to the full readiness of the defenders of the homeland across all defense and intelligence layers to counter any ground or air actions, the IRGC emphasized: "The intelligence superiority and authority of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran show that the estimates and operational defense plans of the IRGC to confront various enemy actions—including ground operations—are at a level where even POW camps have been prepared to host potential invaders!"

The statement stressed: "The Americans would do better to accept reality and stop being playthings in the hands of Netanyahu, the criminal and child-killing Zionist Prime Minister. They should also look at their burnt and ruined bases in the region, which, under the decisive and devastating strikes of Iran’s Armed Forces, can no longer be revived or rebuilt. Their only remaining option is to collect their human and logistical remains and exit the region quickly and unconditionally."

The IRGC also pointed to upcoming global shifts and the consequences of Islamic Iran's glorious victory in the recent U.S.-Zionist imposed war regarding the equations of power, adding: "Evidence suggests the world has prepared itself for the 'Post-Trump era' and a move beyond the unipolar order; an era where a new world order is formed based on resistance, independence, and justice."

Regarding the continuation of military strategies, particularly the "management and control of the strategic Strait of Hormuz," the statement declared: "Controlling the Strait of Hormuz and maintaining its deterrent shadow over the U.S. and the White House’s regional cohorts is the definitive strategy of Islamic Iran in the continuation of the Third Imposed War against the camp of global arrogance. Beyond that, it serves the role of facilitating the passage of commercial ships and tankers of all countries, with the exception of the U.S.-Zionist enemy vessels and their affiliates."

In conclusion, while honoring the memory of Martyr Mohammad Montazer-Ghaem and other martyrs of the Tabas incident, the IRGC affirmed the resolve of the Guards and other Armed Forces to follow the directives of the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, to respond to any hostile move with heavy and devastating blows.

The statement concluded: "Unlike the Zionist-American enemy who closes its eyes to objective realities and learns nothing from the instructive events of Tabas and Isfahan and the 'miracle of sand and dust,' the Iranian nation—relying on the grace of the God of Tabas and Isfahan and the faith, courage, and defensive-offensive rationality of its children in the Armed Forces, especially the IRGC and the People's Basij, as well as the holy unity among the pillars of governance and their obedience to the Supreme Leader—will continue the path of dignity and authority with more splendor and speed than ever before. Any further aggression from the enemy camp will undoubtedly be met with a response beyond their expectations and at the level of strategic deterrence."
