Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held separate telephone consultations with the foreign ministers of Egypt and Türkiye to discuss the latest diplomatic efforts surrounding the regional ceasefire.

Tehran - BORNA - During a phone call between Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, the two diplomats exchanged views on matters related to diplomacy, the current ceasefire, and the latest regional developments.

Additionally, the Iranian Foreign Minister spoke via telephone with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan last night. During this conversation, Araghchi briefed his Turkish counterpart on the progress of the ceasefire and the current status of diplomatic initiatives aimed at bringing a definitive end to the conflict in the region.

These high-level discussions coincide with Araghchi’s ongoing regional tour, which has included stops in Islamabad and Muscat, as part of Tehran's intensive diplomatic campaign to stabilize the region and ensure the sustainability of the cessation of hostilities.
