Pezeshkian: Iran Ready to Elevate Bilateral Ties with Vietnam
Iran’s President congratulated his Vietnamese counterpart on his election, expressing Tehran's readiness to upgrade bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in support of multilateralism.

Tehran - BORNA - Masoud Pezeshkian, in a message congratulating To Lam on his election as the President of Vietnam by the 16th National Assembly, stated: "I am pleased that the friendly relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam—as two independent nations with principled positions and foreign policies based on international law, mutual respect, and responsibility in the multilateral arena—are on the right track across all fields."

The President further noted that despite the existing capacities and capabilities of both nations, there is significant potential for deepening and expanding bilateral ties in pursuit of shared interests. He emphasized: "Therefore, I would like to declare the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to elevate the level of bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in line with supporting multilateralism."
