Iran and Qatar FMs Consult on Regional Diplomacy and Ceasefire Stabilization
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a telephone conversation to discuss the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic processes.

Tehran - BORNA - According to the report, the Iranian Foreign Minister detailed the various dimensions of the current regional situation, particularly the developments related to the ceasefire and the challenges facing its stabilization.

He briefed his Qatari counterpart on the Islamic Republic of Iran's latest diplomatic initiatives and efforts aimed at ending the war and de-escalating tensions.

During the dialogue, both sides pointed to the importance of constructive engagement by regional countries in crisis management.

They emphasized the necessity of continuing diplomatic consultations and coordination to support peace initiatives and strengthen regional stability.

For his part, the Qatari Foreign Minister welcomed Iran’s diplomatic approach.

He reaffirmed Qatar's readiness to continue its active role in mediation and the facilitation of dialogue, with the ultimate goal of bringing a definitive end to the hostilities. This conversation is part of a series of intensive diplomatic communications led by Tehran to build consensus among regional partners regarding the current geopolitical crisis.
