Iranian Foreign Minister Departs for Russia
Following his ongoing diplomatic consultations, Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi departed for Russia at the head of a diplomatic delegation.
Tehran - BORNA - During this visit, the Foreign Minister will meet with senior officials of the Russian Federation to consult on bilateral Iran-Russia relations, as well as regional and international developments.
Based on this report, Araghchi traveled to Islamabad this evening after meeting with Omani officials. After a brief stay in Islamabad and consultations with Pakistani authorities, he left Pakistan for Russia.
The mission to Moscow is viewed as a key step in Tehran's intensive diplomatic efforts to coordinate with global powers regarding the regional security crisis and the status of ceasefire negotiations.
