Putin: I Received the Message from Iran’s Supreme Leader
Tehran - BORNA - Russian President Vladimir Putin told Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi: "Russia will do everything that serves the interests of Iran and other countries in the region to establish peace in the Middle East as soon as possible."
Putin said: "Russia hopes the Iranian people will overcome this difficult period and that peace will prevail in the country. Russia hopes the people of Iran pass through this period of trials; peace will arrive. The Iranian people are fighting bravely and heroically for their sovereignty."
The Iranian Foreign Minister, thanking Putin and Russia for their support for Iran, said: "The relations between Russia and Iran, which represent a strategic partnership, will be strengthened."
He also emphasized that the Supreme Leader and President Pezeshkian conveyed their best wishes to Putin.
Araghchi stressed: "The Iranian people, with their courage, were able to resist American aggression and are capable of enduring it."
