Strategic Doctrine of Martyr Qassem Soleimani Released: If Iran’s Oil is Blocked, No One Else’s Will Be Sold
Tehran - BORNA - Martyr Soleimani addressed the ongoing economic and energy tensions with absolute clarity, stating that the world is no longer controllable by a single power. "Every pressure applied to Iran will be reflected back as pressure on others. If our oil is not sold, no other oil will be sold either—this is not a bluff; it is a reality."
He pointed to Iran’s 1,600 kilometers of coastline and the strategic advantage of islands like Hengam, noting that every supertanker from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, and the UAE is forced to pass by Iranian shores. "Closing the Strait of Hormuz is a formal program of the Islamic Republic," he emphasized.
Regarding the military buildup of foreign forces in the Persian Gulf, Martyr Soleimani described the presence of enemy bases as a deliberate provocation. "They have established bases facing every Iranian garrison, yet the asymmetric power of the Islamic Republic is incomparable to theirs. We were ready to defend ourselves long before they crossed this line."
He also reflected on the decline of U.S. military prestige, mocking the $7 trillion spent in Iraq: "The result of that 'genius' of American power was their President having to land in Iraq in a darkened plane, guided only by mobile phone lights. We do not encourage war, but history has shown that we fight stubbornly."
Defining the core of the struggle, Martyr Soleimani described the Islamic Republic as the "living embodiment of true faith." He argued that without this system, Iran would be no different from regional states that have surrendered their sovereignty. "The Islamic Republic is the only true refuge and pillar for political Islam—both Sunni and Shia. Any event affecting this system impacts the entire Muslim world."
The late commander warned enemies that Iran's defensive depth is far greater than they realize. "You must realize that we are in the closest possible proximity to you, in places you never imagined. How could we not secure the Red Sea and the Mediterranean if we intend to defend ourselves?"
In his concluding remarks, Martyr Soleimani identified the source of Iran's resilience as spiritual rather than purely material. "We humiliate the enemy through the grace of God. In all our calculations, we have God; we cannot live without Him. If we do not have God, we have nothing."
He concluded with the historic principle of the Revolution: "Imam Khomeini said, 'If you stand against our religion, we will stand against your entire world.' We stand by this principle with absolute power and resolve."
