Tabatabaei: Calling for the Surrender of a 6,000-Year-Old Civilization is Meaningless
The Deputy for Communications and Information of the President's Office reacted to recent rhetoric from Washington, noting that no one in the White House seems to possess the historical knowledge necessary to understand the Iranian people.
Tehran - BORNA - Seyed Mehdi Tabatabaei wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account:
"Is there no one in that vast White House who knows history and can remind them that the people being called to absolute surrender are the heirs of a six-thousand-year-old civilization? A civilization renowned throughout history for its resilience and steadfastness.
The last person who spoke to the Iranian nation in such a manner, calling himself the 'General of Qadisiyyah,' met a dark and cautionary end."
