Ghalibaf: Islamic unity crucial to resolving regional crises following Iran's strategic victory
Tehran - BORNA - The message, issued on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha holidays, analyzed the broader geopolitical implications of the recent conflict involving Iran, the United States, and the Israeli regime.
Honoring the late Leader's vision for Islamic unity
In his message, Ghalibaf noted that this major Islamic holiday arrives as the Muslim world and the Iranian nation recover from a period of criminal aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime. He highlighted that the attacks resulted in the martyrdom of numerous Iranian citizens, including school children, and most notably, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
Describing the late Leader as a steadfast champion of unity within the Islamic world and a dedicated defender of the oppressed people of Palestine, Ghalibaf wrote: "Based on religious principles, this beloved martyr consistently urged the Iranian nation to maintain friendship with neighbors, fraternity with freedom-seekers and Muslims, and unwavering resistance against oppression and arrogance."
The strategic lessons of the 40-day war
The parliamentary speaker asserted that guided by these principles, the Iranian people successfully inflicted a heavy defeat on the aggressors during 40 days of direct military confrontations, an outcome witnessed by the global community.
"The strategic victory of Islamic Iran in this war has sent a clear message to Muslims worldwide: if we stand united and in solidarity against the enemies of Islam—particularly the Zionist regime and its supporters—we will emerge victorious," Ghalibaf emphasized.
Ghalibaf concluded his letter by reiterating that fostering a collaborative environment to empower Islamic nations independently, free from external intervention, is the most effective path toward resolving regional crises. He expressed confidence that under the shared will, unity, and integrity of Islamic states, the global Muslim community will achieve lasting growth, prosperity, peace, and security.
