The Iranian national football team held its training session early this morning (18:00 local time) at the national team's camp in Tijuana.

Tehran - BORNA - Today's training session was accompanied by a significant presence of foreign journalists and media outlets. The Iranian players broke into several groups to conduct tactical and team drills.

The 5-v-2 drills were held under the direct supervision of head coach Amir Ghalenoei.

Compared to previous days, today's session was higher in intensity and more tactical, aiming to ensure the players reach their optimal performance for the opening match against New Zealand.

Following these drills, the players participated in an intra-squad scrimmage on a half-pitch.

Reviewing tactical routines, high-speed passing, and one-touch plays were among the other exercises completed by Ghalenoei's men during the session.

Meanwhile, the goalkeepers held their specialized individual training drills under the supervision of the coaching staff, just as they had over the past few days.

Corner kick and counter-attack drills were also part of today's schedule for Ghalenoei's squad, with the tactical plans for these scenarios executed flawlessly.

The national team will hold its final training session tomorrow at 18:00 local time before traveling to Los Angeles.
