Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei issued a message following the massive funeral processions for Iran's martyred leader, addressing key national issues and condemning recent U.S. actions.

Tehran - BORNA - In parts of the message, the Leader stated:

"Simultaneously with this epic [funeral for Iran's martyred leader], the Great Satan's repeated violations of the memorandum of understanding signed between the presidents of Iran and the United States has once again proven to everyone how worthless and invalid the U.S. president's signature is, and that bullying, totalitarianism, and brutality are inseparable components of the American character."

He added: "Today, the Great Satan has once again revealed its true, unmasked face, making this dark experience of crime and breach of promise another solid proof of the untruthful, irrational, unreliable, and malicious nature of the United States."

"Now that the American enemy seeks warmongering, incurring heavier costs, and facing further disgrace, let it know that the beloved Iranian nation and the Resistance Front hold unforgettable lessons for it, examples of which have been demonstrated these days by the bravery of the warriors of Islam and the zeal of the courageous people of the southern region," Ayatollah Khamenei noted.

The Leader emphasized that insisting on holy unity at all levels is among the most fundamental tasks, declaring that avoiding division and conflict is a universal duty.

"It must be stated to you, the loyal and proud people of Iran, that one of the most fundamental matters at this juncture is to insist on unity of word and a sacred alliance across all levels of the people and officials, and in all fields, to realize the high ideals of the Islamic Revolution and ensure the dignity and independence of dear Iran, especially against the criminal and deceitful American enemy," the message read.

Ayatollah Khamenei continued: "As previously and repeatedly emphasized, safeguarding unity and avoiding division, conflict, political disputes, and highlighting social differences is a universal duty. Naturally, the role of officials and compassionate elements devoted to the Revolution, the late Imam, and the martyred leader is more important and sensitive in maintaining the cohesion and integrity of the country."

The Leader added that the great Iranian nation, by maintaining its trust in dedicated officials across all three branches of government whose efforts for the welfare and prosperity of the nation are evident, will remain vigilant and active in the field to guarantee the protection of Islamic Iran's interests.

Addressing well-intentioned critics, the Leader noted: "Some may, out of absolute sincerity and goodwill, have criticisms regarding the performance of certain officials. In my view, while this dedication and concern for the system is a valuable asset and desirable in itself, these dear individuals—some of whom are among the pioneers of insight—must be careful that this approach: Firstly, does not inflict injustice upon an innocent person, which itself deprives one of blessings and grace; and secondly, does not lead to a fracture in social unity and cohesion. By observing these aspects, criticisms will lead to prosperity and progress."

He stressed: "The enemy must not receive any sign of weakness from us, including this weakness [of division]; whenever we fully maintain these precautions, the enemy will inevitably be forced into retreat."

Hailing the massive turnouts, Ayatollah Khamenei concluded: "Salutations and gratitude to you, the great and awe-inspiring nation of Iran, who with your unparalleled and historic epic during the unprecedented funeral of Iran's martyred leader, set a new benchmark for the manifestation of the Islamic-Iranian identity in appreciation, loyalty, insight, and extraordinary affection toward the leader of the Islamic Ummah."

"The warmth of grieving hearts, tearful eyes, and the firm resolve of the tens-of-millions-strong crowds spanning dozens of kilometers in Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, and other cities and villages moved the friends of the Iranian nation and free people of the world to admiration, while leaving the arrogant enemies of the Iranian nation in astonishment, confusion, anger, and terror."
