Iran's Supreme Leader appoints Mohsen Rezaei to Supreme National Security Council

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei has appointed Dr. Mohsen Rezaei as his official representative to the Supreme National Security Council, according to a decree issued Sunday.

Tehran - BORNA - In the official decree, the Supreme Leader cited Rezaei’s extensive military and executive experience, particularly his role as a pioneering commander during the eight-year Sacred Defense, in entrusting him with the position.

The text of the decree issued by Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei reads as follows:

"In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Dear Brother, Dr. Mohsen Rezaei,

In light of your valuable experience and as a pioneer of the glorious eight-year Sacred Defense, I hereby appoint you as my representative to the Supreme National Security Council. I wish you complete success in fulfilling this crucial responsibility.

Additionally, I extend my appreciation for the round-the-clock efforts of our dear brother, Dr. Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr.

Insha'Allah, under the guidance of our Lord, Hazrat Baqiyatullah al-A'zam (may God hasten his noble appearance), may you always remain a dedicated soldier serving the proud nation of Iran.
