Enemy seeks to foment domestic insecurity, Iran's parliament speaker warns
Tehran - BORNA - During a Wednesday morning meeting with the Chief Commander of the Iranian Law Enforcement Command (FARAJA), Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Radan, and other senior police officials, Ghalibaf expressed gratitude for the forces' dedication to serving the public and neutralizing hostile plots. Reflecting on recent geopolitical tensions, the parliament speaker pointed to a "heavy 40-day US military offensive," asserting that Washington has realized military operations cannot harm Iran due to the country's established deterrence. Consequently, he noted, the enemy has redirected its primary pressure toward economic warfare and disrupting domestic stability.
Emphasizing that hostile designs are now concentrated on inciting violent actions within the country, Ghalibaf stated that Iran's top priorities must be enhancing economic resilience and securing internal peace. He assured the police command that the executive, legislative, and judicial branches are united in their commitment to taking immediate and serious measures to address the infrastructural, economic, and livelihood needs of the armed forces, with a special focus on FARAJA. The speaker, who previously served as Iran's police chief, lauded the round-the-clock efforts of law enforcement personnel in both peacetime and during crises, including what he referred to as the "second and third imposed wars."
The meeting, held in observance of National Police Week, also featured remarks from Brigadier General Radan, who commended Ghalibaf’s past leadership and ongoing support for the law enforcement apparatus. During the session, senior commanders presented comprehensive reports on the latest policing achievements and operational requirements. At the conclusion of the event, Ghalibaf delivered a live audio message over the national police radio network, extending his congratulations to all commanders and personnel across the country for their tireless efforts and sacrifices.
