The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, said in a message marking Police Week that the prominent role of Iran's Law Enforcement Command (FARAJA) in ensuring security, at every level from command and staff ranks to police stations and outposts, has become more pronounced in recent years, and that signs of this impact became more evident during the second and third imposed wars.

Tehran - BORNA - The Leader said in his message that the American-Zionist criminal enemy's focus on and insistence upon striking FARAJA at every level, from its highest ranks to its frontline units, further revealed the importance of the institution. However, he said, this desperate effort and these malicious blows against the pillars of order and security in society, which have no parallel in history, did not cause FARAJA's brave forces to back down from their mission in the slightest; even in the streets and in their vehicles, they carried out the same role and duties they performed at their posts and headquarters.

The full text of the Leader's message follows:

"Security is among the most important of God's blessings, and its establishment across beloved Iran, from major cities to the smallest population units in villages and neighborhoods, from arduous border guarding in harsh weather conditions and in diverse terrains of mountains and seas, from plains and forests to the most central parts of the country, is owed to the valor and courage of the devoted and hardworking forces of FARAJA as one of the firm pillars of the country's security.

This security provides for various social and moral dimensions and for public peace of mind in society, and such valuable service, in addition to being a struggle in the way of God, enjoys strong social support. FARAJA's prominent role in ensuring security, at various levels from command and staff ranks to police stations and outposts, has gained greater prominence in recent years, and signs of this impact became more evident during the second and third imposed wars. The American-Zionist criminal enemy's focus on and insistence upon striking FARAJA's various ranks, from the highest levels to its frontline units, further revealed the importance of this institution. But this desperate effort and these malicious blows against the pillars of order and security in society, which have no parallel in history, did not cause FARAJA's brave forces to back down from their mission in the slightest; even in the streets and in their vehicles, they carried out the same role and duties they performed at their posts and headquarters.

For this reason, the oppressed yet mighty nation of Iran appreciates the tireless efforts of those who serve the country's security, and in turn, FARAJA's forces, who, like the Army and the IRGC, rise from the depths of society, can raise the people's trust in this valuable institution through trust-building conduct. The efforts and sacrifices of the guardians of security may often be taken for granted by some ordinary people, and it is this very unsung and unrecognized service that increases their reward before God. Comprehensively strengthening the security forces in various human, hardware and software dimensions, particularly upgrading technologies, including the purposeful use of artificial intelligence in data analysis, plays an important role in the quality and facilitation of FARAJA's missions.

Praying for the elevation of the ranks and divine pleasure for FARAJA's exalted martyrs, and expressing gratitude to all families and personnel, conscripts and brave and zealous forces, especially FARAJA's courageous, tireless and intelligent commander and his efforts, I hope that with the prayers of our master [Imam Mahdi] (may God hasten his reappearance), they will be ever more successful in elevating the security, power and dignity of Islamic Iran.
