Ghalibaf mocks US Treasury Sec. with 'Nobel in Practical Physics' over failed predictions
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf has strongly mocked US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent over his repeated, unfulfilled threats and deadlines against Iran's economy.
Tehran - BORNA - Reacting to Bessent's continuous and baseless predictions, Ghalibaf suggested in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the US Treasury Secretary deserves a "Nobel in Practical Physics" for proving that time is irrelevant.
"Let’s 'play the percentages'. Not in odds, but in the % increases," Ghalibaf wrote on X.

"btw, 'They have nothing in 2 weeks,' 'Wells explode in 3 days,' 'Economic D-Day' all passed," he added, referring to the failed deadlines set by the US official.
"Time’s relative; turns out it could be irrelevant. Nobel in Practical Physics for Treasury?" Ghalibaf concluded.
