Rusted US warships will never be allowed to re-enter Persian Gulf: Top commander

Tehran - BORNA - Major General Pilot Ali Abdollahi stated that the proud armed forces of the Islamic Republic have successfully rendered the US Navy ineffective. He noted that while the US leadership, including Donald Trump, considers their navy the pinnacle of American power and uses it to threaten the region and the world, these forces are no longer capable of approaching the waters surrounding the Persian Gulf or Iran's territorial waters.

Pointing to the contradictory remarks made by the US president, the top commander highlighted that Trump has repeatedly claimed to have destroyed Iran's nuclear facilities while simultaneously and frequently asserting that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons. "If you have destroyed everything, then what is the meaning of repeating this delirium?" Abdollahi asked, addressing US officials. He stressed that these frequent and contradictory statements are merely intended to deceive global public opinion, particularly the American public.

"If you are so certain that you have destroyed all of Iran's military facilities and capabilities, then why do your rusted warships, vessels, and cowardly military forces not dare to approach the Strait of Hormuz or Iran's maritime and land borders?" the major general challenged.

Abdollahi concluded by affirming that under the firm resolve of the courageous Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the resilient Iranian nation, and the devoted armed forces, Iran's overarching strategy is to drown the US and its illegitimate offspring, the Zionist regime, deeper into the quagmire of their own making. He warned that with divine assistance, the longer this confrontation persists, the deeper the enemies will sink into the abyss of death and decline.
