Pezeshkian, Qatar's Emir meet on sidelines of gas exporters summit in Moscow
President Masoud Pezeshkian met Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday on the sidelines of the eighth summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Moscow, with the two discussing ways to develop bilateral relations and strengthen energy cooperation.
Tehran - BORNA - The two sides reviewed the latest state of Tehran-Doha relations and stressed the importance of expanding political and economic ties and using existing capacities to raise the level of bilateral cooperation, according to reports.
Energy cooperation, the development of economic and trade exchanges, and strengthening coordination among gas-exporting countries were among the main topics of the meeting.
Pezeshkian arrived in Moscow on Monday night to attend the eighth GECF summit.
