South Pars

Iran’s Acting Minister of Petroleum has announced the completion of the bulk of major overhauls at the South Pars gas field, stating that reconstructions and development projects are being pursued at a faster pace to ensure proper service delivery to the Iranian people during the upcoming winter.

Iran has opened another infill well in the South Pars gas field amid efforts to increase production from the field to respond to a growing demand for energy in the country.

Gas production at the South Pars Gas Field increases five million cubic meters per day as a result of putting into operation three wells.
