Iran's steel output

The Iranian steel Producers Association (ISPA) has reported that the country’s export of steel products registered a 41 percent growth in the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2025).

Iran has reported an increase in its steel exports after a sluggish start to the calendar year that began in late March.

Iran’s steel production outpaced Brazil's in May as the country moved up to 9th in the ranking of the world’s largest steel producers, according to figures by the World Steel Association (worldsteel).
