Iranian Tech Company Among the World’s Top 20 AI Startups
An Iranian knowledge-based company, a member of Sharif University of Technology’s Science and Technology Park, has been recognized among the world’s top 20 startups in artificial intelligence applications.

Tehran - BORNA - According to Sharif University, Data Intelligence Technology and Learning (DATALL)—a knowledge-based company located in the Sharif Innovation District—was selected as one of the Top 20 Startups in the Oil & Gas Trend Report 2025 by StartUs Insights, out of approximately 8,500 global startups. The company received support from Iran’s Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the Industry Liaison Office of Sharif University of Technology.

Operating in the field of artificial intelligence, DATALL was highlighted in the report as an exemplary company for its effective use of AI and machine learning technologies across multiple industries. This recognition reflects the company’s growing capability in developing data-driven, practical solutions for complex industrial challenges.

Founded in 2020, DATALL’s activities extend beyond the oil and gas sector, covering four main domains: sports and health, water, energy, and oil and gas. The company is currently engaged in several large-scale projects focused on AI-based industrial monitoring and intelligent systems across various sectors.

Through establishing the Hamta Innovation Center at the Sharif Innovation District, DATALL has taken significant steps toward implementing artificial intelligence in elite and public sports, as well as health technologies. Its multidisciplinary structure demonstrates a comprehensive approach to leveraging data mining and AI for solving real-world industrial problems.

The company employs over 80 experts at the Sharif Energy, Water and Environmental Science and Technology Research Institute, most of whom are Sharif University graduates. Among DATALL’s founders and senior executives are several alumni of top global universities, including Stanford University.
