Khatibzadeh: President Pezeshkian to Visit Kazakhstan by End of Year
Tehran - BORNA - Khatibzadeh told Kazakhstan’s Kazinform news agency that more than 20 cooperation documents in the fields of economy, culture, and agriculture are being prepared for signing during the visit.
He described Iran and Kazakhstan as “natural partners and brotherly nations with deep historical and cultural ties,” noting that as Caspian neighbors, the two countries enjoy strong relations across political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields and maintain close cooperation within regional organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Khatibzadeh added that bilateral trade has exceeded 340 million dollars, with both sides aiming to raise it to 3 billion dollars in the coming years. He also announced plans for a delegation from Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture Jihad to visit Kazakhstan soon for talks on grain trade and agricultural cooperation.
