Kamala Harris Does Not Rule Out Running for President Again
Tehran - BORNA - Kamala Harris, the former Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election, was asked when the U.S. would see a woman occupy the office of the President in the White House. She responded that the occurrence of this is certain.
Speaking to the BBC, when asked if that woman would be her, Harris replied that it is a "possibility" but that she has not yet made a decision on the matter.
"I have been in public service my entire career, and it has become a part of who I am," she said. "There are many ways to serve, and I have not yet decided what I will do in the future beyond what I am currently doing."
Harris, who previously served as Vice President to Joe Biden before succeeding him as the Democratic nominee for the 2024 election to run against the Republican rival, Donald Trump, also commented on opinion polls regarding her prospects for re-entering the electoral race.
"I think the polls say a lot, and I've never paid attention to the polls," Harris stated. "If I listened to the polls, I wouldn't have run for my first office or my second office."
