The Iranian Girls' U18 National Volleyball Team secured the championship title at the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain after defeating Indonesia in a thrilling five-set final match.

Tehran - BORNA - The Iranian Girls' U18 National Volleyball Team faced Indonesia in the final of the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain on Wednesday night, October 29th (Aban 7th), ultimately claiming the championship.

The Iranian squad, coached by Lee Do Hee, won the match with a 3-2 victory, earning their first-ever Gold Medal in the Asian Youth Games.

The set scores were as follows:

  • Set 1: 28-26 (Iran)

  • Set 2: 25-20 (Indonesia)

  • Set 3: 25-18 (Indonesia)

  • Set 4: 25-17 (Iran)

  • Set 5: 16-14 (Iran)

During the tournament, the Iranian girls' team successfully defeated Qatar, Bahrain, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia (in an earlier round), Hong Kong, and the Philippines, culminating in their final victory over Indonesia.

The players for the U18 girls' national team in the Bahrain competitions were: Aida Vali Nezhad, Masoumeh Ghadami Taghdeh, Hasti Vahedi, Laya Afzouni, Yalda Jafari, Yasna Ahan Koubrou, Mobina Karimi, Aida Baghernia, Setayesh Sadat Hosseini, Negar Hosseini, Negar Abbasi, and Elena Homayouni Rad.
