Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi Welcomes Turkish counterpart in Tehran

Tehran - BORNA - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who is visiting Iran for meetings and consultations with Tehran officials, was formally welcomed by his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon, Sunday.

The report states that following the official welcoming ceremony, discussions between the two Foreign Ministers and their accompanying delegations commenced.

The high-ranking Turkish diplomat is also scheduled to meet and consult with several other officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran during his visit to Tehran.

The focus of the consultations during Fidan's trip to Tehran includes reviewing bilateral relations, regional developments, and important international issues.
