ISPA: Iran’s steel output up 5.4% in 8 months
The Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) says that the country’s steel production in the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2025) registered a 5.4 percent growth.

Tehran - BORNA - According to the association, Iran’s steel output volume showed a 5.4 percent growth between March 21 and November 22, 2025, compared to the same period last year.

In this period, the country’s production of sponge iron and iron ore concentrate indicated an 8.1 percent and 8.2 percent growth, respectively, compared to the last year’s corresponding period, the report added.
