Araghchi: Resistance is a Discourse Beyond States and Formal Diplomacy
Iranian Foreign Minister Sayyid Abbas Araghchi emphasized that "Resistance" is a concept that transcends governments and formal diplomacy, describing it as a school of thought and a global ideal.

Tehran - BORNA - "Resistance is a discourse, a mindset, a school, and a cause formed with the aim of confronting bullying, excessive demands, occupation, and hegemonism," Araghchi stated during his remarks.

A Dominant Regional Discourse

The top Iranian diplomat noted that this discourse is currently present throughout the entire region. "Although some governments may show more attention to it and others less, as a whole, it can be said that this school of thought is regarded as a dominant current within the public opinion of the region," he added.

The Endurance of the Ideal

Araghchi further clarified that a significant portion of the region's public adheres to this school of thought, asserting that "this path will continue as a lasting ideal."

By defining Resistance beyond the framework of state-level interactions, the Foreign Minister highlighted that its power stems from its grassroots legitimacy and its fundamental opposition to foreign intervention and occupation in West Asia.
