Nearly 10,000 Civilian Units Damaged in Recent Airstrikes; 44 Medical Staff Killed or Injured
The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Pirhossein Kolivand, said nearly 10,000 civilian residential and commercial units have been damaged in recent airstrikes, while dozens of medical personnel have been killed or injured.

Tehran - BORNA - Kolivand cited the latest field assessment reports from affected areas, saying a total of 9,669 civilian units sustained damage in the attacks.

Of these, 7,943 residential units and 1,617 commercial units were damaged, affecting a significant portion of people’s livelihoods and local economic infrastructure.

He added that 32 pharmaceutical and medical centers as well as 65 educational schools were also damaged during the incidents.

Kolivand further said that 13 facilities belonging to the Iranian Red Crescent Society were affected.

He noted that 15 operational vehicles, including rescue vehicles and 13 ambulances belonging to the Red Crescent and emergency services, were damaged.

According to the official, seven relief workers were also injured in the incidents in cities including Tehran, Mahabad, and Khomein.

Kolivand said 11 members of the medical staff were killed and 33 healthcare workers were injured during the attacks.

He added that the Iranian Red Crescent Society continues to provide emergency and operational support to affected communities, with relief operations, damage assessments, and assistance to victims ongoing.
