Takht-Ravanchi: Iran Allows Passage of Some Ships Through Strait of Hormuz:
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said the country has allowed the passage of some ships through the Strait of Hormuz following negotiations with several countries.
Tehran - BORNA - According to the remarks, some states have held talks with Iran regarding the transit of their vessels, and Tehran has cooperated in facilitating the passage of certain ships.
Takht-Ravanchi stressed, however, that countries involved in the aggression against Iran should not expect to benefit from safe passage through the strategic waterway.
He described the Strait of Hormuz as a vital route for global oil and energy exports, noting that any disruption to traffic through the strait could have significant consequences for international energy markets and maritime routes.
The Iranian diplomat also said that the main route of the strait remains closed due to the ongoing war involving the United States and Israel.
