Pezeshkian Urges Regional States Not to Allow Their Territory to Be Used for War Against Iran
Tehran - BORNA - Pezeshkian wrote in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter):
“We have repeatedly stated that Iran does not carry out preemptive attacks, but in response to attacks on infrastructure and economic centers, we will deliver a firm response to the criminal enemy.
I tell the countries of the region: if you are seeking development and security, do not allow our enemies to conduct war from your countries.”
These remarks come amid a series of Israeli attacks on Iranian civilian and industrial infrastructure on March 27.
Provincial officials reported strikes on major steel facilities, including the Foolad Mobarakeh Steel Company in Isfahan and the Foolad Khuzestan Company in Khuzestan Province, which caused material damage but no reported casualties.
In addition, Iranian authorities reported attacks on non-military sites, including universities and other economic and industrial centers.
Iranian officials have repeatedly emphasized that attacks on civilian infrastructure constitute a red line, warning that such actions would trigger retaliatory measures.
