Security of the strait of Hormuz is Iran's Red Line, Warns Army Commander-in-Chief
Iran's Army Chief Commander Major General Amir Hatami warned that the security of the strait of Hormuz is a "red line" for the country.
Tehran - BORNA - In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army wrote:
"In the Name of God the Subduer. The children of the Iranian nation are the watchful eyes of the Persian Gulf. Every inch of these waters is within the reach of our will. U.S. destroyers, with the deception of radar silence, imagined they could approach the Strait of Hormuz; however, our response was fire. Cruise missiles and combat drones took flight. The security of this region is Iran’s red line."
The commander emphasized that any attempt to bypass Iran's maritime surveillance through stealth tactics would be met with a decisive military response.
