Iranian, Chinese FMs meet in Beijing to discuss bilateral ties, regional developments
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in Beijing on Wednesday to discuss the expansion of bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments.
Tehran - BORNA - Heading a high-ranking diplomatic delegation, Araghchi arrived in the Chinese capital at 3:00 AM local time on Wednesday.
The meeting focused on the strategic partnership between Tehran and Beijing, as well as the ongoing efforts to bolster regional stability amid escalating tensions.
The visit to China is part of Araghchi's broader diplomatic outreach. Prior to his arrival in Beijing, the Iranian Foreign Minister conducted a regional tour that included official visits to Pakistan, Oman, and Russia, where he held consultations with senior officials on mutual interests and regional security.
