Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi described his meetings with senior Chinese officials as constructive, emphasizing Tehran's trust in Beijing's efforts to advance peace and stability in the region.

Tehran - BORNA - Following his consultations in Beijing, Araghchi highlighted the key outcomes of his visit and his meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi:

The Iranian Foreign Minister characterized his discussions with his Chinese counterpart as "constructive," noting that both nations reaffirmed Iran's fundamental right to exercise its national sovereignty and uphold its national dignity.

Araghchi expressed Iran's appreciation for China's "four-point proposal" aimed at maintaining and strengthening peace and stability in the Middle East. He noted that Tehran views these diplomatic efforts as essential for de-escalation.

Emphasizing the depth of bilateral ties, Araghchi stated, "Iran trusts China and hopes the country will continue its active role in advancing peace and ending conflicts."
