New candidates emerge for Iran’s U-17 and U-19 national team coaching roles
Following the appointment of Hossein Abdi as the head coach of the Iranian U-23 (Olympic) team, reports indicate that the Football Federation is now narrowing down its choices for the youth national team benches.

Tehran - BORNA - Mohammad Ansari, the former veteran defender and sports deputy of Persepolis, has emerged as a serious candidate for the head coaching position of the Iran U-17 (National Youth) team. Ansari, who was previously linked with managerial roles at Persepolis and its academy, is now considered a leading contender for the national youth setup.

Furthermore, Hassan Khanmohammadi is reportedly being considered for the Iran U-19 (National Junior) team. Khanmohammadi has a proven track record in youth development, having previously led the Persepolis Academy's youth teams to championship titles. Most recently, he served as the head coach of the Iran-Mehr junior team in the Tehran Provincial League.

While the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) has yet to make an official announcement, these two figures are currently identified as the primary options to lead the country's youth development programs on the international stage.
